- Cement is solid material resulted of burning and milling process in grains or nodul. Cement raw materials are Limestone which contains a lot of CaCO3, Clay with abundant SiO2 and Al2O3, Silica sand that contains SiO2 and iron sand with Fe2O3. Formed cement grains mostly has 75 – 600 micron size as the need of cement packaging is in 75 micron. Therefore, it is needed appropriate classification on cement size. Cyclone separator is classification tool that separate particulate matter from the air, gas or liquid without using filter; it separates with vortex. Rotation and gravitation effect are used to separate solid mixture. In designing cyclone separator, it is obtained air speed into cyclone separator in 15 m/s, Cyclone diameter is 1,854 m. Decreasing pressure on pipe is 0,19 Kpa and blower motor is 5,5 kW.
