- Experimental research methods was used in this research and the kind of research is quantitative research. To get the result about the size of tensile strength analysis, distortion and low carbon steel violence which has experienced FCAW welding by adding of static cooling with the cooling water capacity variant. The obtained result was analyzed by using analysis descriptive, namely outline the comparison specimens were given different treatment on the welding process. The result showed that the static cooling with different water capacity variations during the welding could get to minimize distortion, get highest tensile strength result, and the highest hardness violence. Minimum distortion occured on the welding result with 700L/H water capacity, is 5,76mm. The highest hardness violence occured on the welding result with 2800L/H water capacity, is 196,07 kg/mm2 and the maximuum tensile strength occured on the welding result with water capacity 2800L/H is 32,83 kgf/mm2.
