  • Data acquisition is a process of sampling from physical real-world conditions, and is converted from the resulting sample to digital numerical values on the computer. Data acquisition can take, collect, prepare data, which will be processed to produce DC motor rotation speed data on the forced vibration experiment. Forced vibration testing is one of the basic machine phenomena test tools. The production tools much outside the country and the price of unit is quite expensive. Experiments of forced vibrations in the laboratory of basic machine phenomena, Mechanical Engineering, University of Muhammadiyah Malang are still manual in the work prosess. In this research, the design of the data acquisition system and DC motor speed controller. The tool consists of speed and data acquisition system. The design starts with several requirements taken from the methods of Pahl G and Beitz W. The tool use mica plastic frame and a thick 2 mm in the shape of a beam, there is the lcd 16x2 , Optochoupler sensor as a speed sensor, rotating speed controller button, DC motor drive electrical circuit, an Arduino Uno microcontroller as a data acquisition system processor, and DC motor 12 V 1800 rpm.
