- Terara, Santong Village, East Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara, is one of the centers of rice production, especially for development of rice field. Most of villagers work as farmers. In Terara, East Lombok which has been known as rainfed land, the farmers choose to plant paddy using gogo rancah (gora) system derived from Jajar Legowo paddy planting system and other planting systems. This research was held on July - June 2018. It was located in Santong Village, Terara District, East Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara Province. The purpose and objective of this research is to analyze the income and efficiency of paddy farming in Santong Village, Terara District, East Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara. The research method used to answer the problem formulation was using income analysis. Respondents studied were rice farmers who use gora system amounting 40 farmers. Data collection techniques carried out were observation, interview and documentation. Data analysis used in this study was qualitatively descriptive. The result of this research shows that rice farmers’ income in Santong Village, Terara District, East Lombok Regency was about Rp. 59.992.056.875 from R/C calculation, the ratio obtained was about 2.990. Thus, it can be concluded that rice farming in Santong village gains profit.
