- This research/study is motivated by the phenomenon of PT Selecta's share ownership which is dominated by employees and the surrounding community, being 1,100 people. While formal internal communication activities between management and all shareholders are only conducted once a year, namely at the RUPS. The formulation of problem in this research is how internal communication activities implemented by PT Selecta in fostering harmonious relations with the internal public. This study aims to describe PT Selecta's internal communication activities in fostering harmonious relations with the internal public. This research/study uses qualitative research methods with descriptive approach type of research. the subject in this study is the director of PT Selecta, the head of the personnel department and accounting staff that are selected based on predetermined criteria using a purposive sampling technique. the data in this study are obtained through the process of observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques in this study uses miles and hubberman interactive models with validity tests using data source triangulation. This research/study is focused on formal and informal internal communication activities, internal relations programs, and communication barriers. The results of this study are formal communication activities wereshown in employee ceremonies, work meetings, and general meeting of shareholders, while informal communication is carried out flexibly and dynamically because management applies egalitarian principles and family systems in managing the company. PT Selecta's internal program is an employee ceremony held every month on the 19th as a form of management information disclosure in managing the company and providing free education to all employees as a responsive form of management to the needs of employees. Communications barriers caused by the various kind of characteristics, background and the shareholder’s intention when it comes to RUPS. To overcome those barriers, there are some strategic steps that should be taken by implementing a system deliberation in managing the company, by the opennes of informations, two-way communications, and also by prioritizing coordination in every issues so that every components whose play an important role in the company would be able to synergize to build and maintain the existence of PT Selecta.
