  • Academic anxiety can be interpreted as a feeling of tension and fear of something and interfere with the executin of tasks, activities, and facing national exams. Students who have high academic anxiety will not have the ability and confidence in themselves to face national exams. This study aims to determine the relationship of resilience and self efficacy with academic anxiety in facing the 12th grade national exam. The subjects used in this study amounted to 200 students of Senior High shcool 2 Sumenep 12th grade with age 16-19 years. Data collection is done using a scale of resilienc, self efficacy and academic anxiety. The sampling technique used was random sampling using product moment analysis. The results showed that there was a negative relationship between resilience and self efficacy with academic anxiety facing national examination in 12th grade students (r = -0,647 : p = 0,000 : p < 0,05). The effective contribution of resilience and self efficacy to academic anxiety was 42%. This shows that 58% of the factors contribute effectively to resilience and self efficacy with academic anxiety facing national exams in 12th grade students. This shows that the higher the resilience and self efficacy, the lower the students’ academic anxiety, and vice versa.
