  • At present there are still members of the Indonesian National Police who carry out narcotics crimes. As law enforcement officers, it should provide a good example to the community instead of being involved in a narcotics crime. This study takes the form of a problem The factors that cause police officers to commit narcotics crimes, Types of criminal acts of narcotics committed by the police, and countermeasures carried out by the police against members who commit criminal acts of narcotics, barriers and solutions. This study uses a sociological-Criminological juridical approach. Primary data sources were obtained from Malang Police, secondary data sources were obtained from legislation, journals, legal literature relating to the object under study, and tertiary data sources obtained from encyclopedias, dictionaries and others. The data collection technique was in the form of interviews with Respondents in Malang Police. Data from the research results were analyzed descriptively. The results of the research are that there are still members of the National Police in Malang Police who are perpetrators of criminal acts. In conclusion, the causal factors are due to economic factors and environmental factors, actors in 2014 as distributors and users, in 2018 only as users, how to deal with preventive efforts, repressive and curative, obstacles when there are members themselves when making arrests , and the solution is to do a urine test every 6 months. Suggestions, more supervision needs to be done and a urine test every 2 months, as well as more increased penalties to cause a deterrent effect.
