- This research aimed at describing the mathematical problem-solving ability of Senior High School students using the Discovery Learning model based on the SOLO taxonomy. The subjects of this research were the students of 10th Social Science 2 (IPS 2) at Senior High School of Sunan Kalijogo. This research used descriptive qualitative approach. The data collection techniques used observation sheets and test sheets. The research results indicated that the mathematical problem-solving ability using the Discovery Learning model was in the relational level. Therefore, it meant that most of the students could identify the element sufficiency of the item well, create the problem-solving plans well, implement the problem-solving plans well, and also create the conclusion of the item well.
