- Technological advances at this time continue to grow very rapidly and some people try to steal data or information that should not have happened, therefore many data and information are very important to protect so that information or data is not stolen. because there are many ways a hacker can get important information or data with more openness in knowledge of hacking and cracking and some irresponsible parties try to steal or retrieve information by supporting various free tools, making it easier for hackers and attackers to try to do it theft or attack. One of them is a bruteforce attack that tries to illegally enter the server to steal data and information and ddos attacks aim to spend all available bandwidth between the target and the internet network. Therefore an administrator needs a system that can help its performance, which is a system that can help if the administrator is not in a place, a system that can prevent and provide reports or reports in real time that are easy to understand and classification of attacks. Fail2ban can prevent port 21, 22 and 80 attacks on the server and the decision tree algorithm is used to classify attacks using port parameters, thus facilitating administrator performance to determine the type of attack and can act further to analyze the occurrence of attacks in the future and so as not to occur attempt to attack or infiltrate again.
