  • Women are very concerned about the physical possessions so that more women behave consumptively to support their appearance. Diet behavior and excessive purchase of dietary drugs appear because individuals who feel body dissatisfaction. Body dissatisfaction is the difference between an individual's perception of an ideal body size and their actual body size. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between body dissatisfaction with consumptive behavior in purchasing diets for female students. This research is a quantitative correlation research, as many as 100 research subjects and purposive sampling technique. The instrument used is the Body Shape Questionnaire (BSQ) scale and the consumer behavior scale. Data analysis used is product moment correlation. The results showed that there was a significant positive relationship on body dissatisfaction and consumptive behavior in the purchase of dietary drugs in female students, with a value (p = 0.000 <0.05) and an effective body dissatisfaction 22.7% contribution to consumptive behavior in the purchase of diet drugs in female students.
