  • Production process at CV. Nunggal Sari has almost all its work done manually, including dolomite transport. The position of transporting workers when carrying dolomite can cause the risk of mosculosceletal disorders (aches in the hands, back, hips, neck and legs). In this study to determine the value of the risk of work in each process, an analysis of the work was carried out using the OWAS (Ovako Working Anaysis System) method. The results of the calculation of the OWAS (Ovako Working Anaysis System) method in each production process have a category 3 and 4 values, indicating that some of the workers' postures cause musculoskeletal disorders and need to be repaired at work facilities. Proposals for improvement of work facilities provided are replacement of material lifting processes with conveyors, design of additional components in molen engines, use of safety shoes, masks, full mask helmets, and additional use of pallet and hand pallet to reduce the risk of musculoskeletal injury for workers.
