- Corn farmers in Sambirejo Village are also constrained by farming capital and do not have the courage to take risks. In addition, the late distribution of B 54 seeds also caused farmers to prefer to use non B corn seeds 54. The location of the study was determined by purposive sampling. The study was conducted on corn farmers who used corn seeds B 54 and non B 54 corn seeds. The data used in this study were primary data and secondary data. The method of determining the sample using census method for 40 respondents of corn farmers. Analysis of the data used in this study is qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis. Data analysis techniques used to determine the results of the problem formulation are cost analysis, revenue, income, different income tests and logistic regression. Based on the results of the analysis, it can be seen that there are several considerations of corn farmers in Sambirejo Village who do not move using B 54 seeds because it is a new type of seed so that farmers do not yet have an understanding of the appropriate planting system. The independent sample t test results can be known that the significance is 0.06 <0.05, which means that there is a significant difference in the level of income of corn farming B 54 with non B 54 corn. The results of logistic regression analysis can be seen that the age of farmers, level of education , farming experience, extent of land ownership, farm income affect the decision of farmers in using seed B 54 in corn farming
