- The study already implemented with duration of 30 days (one month), starting on December 1, 2018 until January 1, 2018 in Sedang Biru, Malang Regency. The purpose of this research is to know the composition of the species, amount and distribution of the length and weight of the fish catch using hand line by fishermen in Sendang Biru. The method used in this research is survey method with case study. Objects taken in this study are fishermen and boat owners in Sendang Biru, Malang regency. The data that have been collected from research activities then analyzed related to the composition of species, amount and the effect of the distribution of the length and weight fish catch using hand line by fishermen in Sendang Biru. Analytical techniques in this study using qualitative analysis with the type of deskrptif. The results showed that the composition of fish catches using hand line consisted of Eye Large Tuna, Yellowfin Tuna, Skipjack Tuna and Albakor. While total fish catch from six ships as sample was 410,035 kg, and distribution of length and weight of catch fish were Yellowfin Tuna (30 cm and 2 kg), Skipjack Tuna (30 cm and 1 kg) and Albakor (80 cm and 26 kg). This research is conducted to provide information to the academics, especially students, the people (fishermen) and the government with the use of fishing gear hand line type in Sendang Biru, Malang regency.
