Tbk is a manufacturing company that produces ceramic tiles, the company is dedicated to producing low-cost ceramic tiles to serve the lower-middle market segment nationally, in order to survive and to win the market competition the company is required to keep innovating to maximize productivity, the productivity of a production can be seen from the aspect of the length of time the machine process in completing an order (makespan), by seeing that problem, production scheduling is a strategy that will lead to the increasing of the company productivity, the company currently scheduling workmanship with the first come first serve rules, where the order comes first will be done first, this rule is often not profitable for the orders that require short processing time because the order is behind the queue then it has to wait for a long time before it is processed. it causes makespan becomes longer and makes a productivity decreased. There are many heuristics that are developing at this time, one of them is a heurustic pour that will be used to solve the problem of scheduling in the company in this research. The research stages consist of identification and preliminary research, data collection, standard time calculation, company scheduling, scheduling of proposed methods, makespan comparisons, analysis and interpretation, conclusions and suggestions. Based on the research, the proposed method makes makespan smaller, which is 4032,4 hours from the scheduling of the company 4210,2 hours. Thus the savings obtained is 177,9 hours.
