  • In production process activity in UD Putra Fajar found existence of manual activity or semi automatic. Production workforce is considered less ergonomic. Workers work with work postures bent and squatting. With such a working position, it will greatly reduce the comfort of labor and potentially cause work-related diseases because the production process is done with a long period of time. This kind of work activity can cause musculoskeletal disorder. Therefore a method is needed to solve the problem. Rapid Upper Limb Assessment (RULA) is one of the methods that can be used in work posture analysis. RULA is a research method to investigate disorders of upper limbs. . Prior to processing data using RULA method of division of questionnaires nordic body map, to find out the complaints on any body part that experienced pain before and after work. This study aims to determine the level of risk MSDs complaints to the workforce at UD PutaFajar as well as provide solutions to complaints problems. After collecting and processing data, it is known that there are 3 working postures with "moderate" risk level of MSDs and there are 3 postures with high risk of MSDs. Solutions in the form of repair work posture standing and sitting when producing jackfruit fruit chips.
