  • The purpose of this study was to find out the perspective-taking relationship with social competence moderated by peer conformity in adolescents. The research subjects were 302 adolescents with ages ranging from 13-18 years. Subjects were selected using cluster sampling techniques. The research instruments used were Interpersonal Competence Questionnaire (ICQ), Cognitive Empathy Questionaire (CEQ) and Peer Conformity Disposition Scale (PCDS). This study uses a quantitative approach. Analysis of research data using the Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) to measure the results of moderation. The results of the regression analysis indicate that there is a relationship between perspective- taking and social competence (β = 0.58; p = 0.00) and peer conformity significantly moderating the relationship perspective-taking with social competence (B = 0.03; p = 0.02).
