- Teaching media is a tool used in teaching process that assist the material delivery from the teacher to the student. The development of interactive web-based teaching media can be used to rouse student interest in the teaching process. Web media has the benefit of accessible information anywhere and anytime, besides arousing student interest. The aim of this research was: (1) analyzing and describing the development of interactive web-based teaching media; (2) analyzing and describing the effectiveness of interactive web-based teaching media. According to Sugiyono (2017), this research falls into research and development (R&D). The steps in this media development were: potency and problem; data collection; media design; media validation; design revision; media testing; media revision. This research was conducted on 6th June 2018 in Christian Junior High School St. Albertus Donomulyo on twenty 7th grade students. The instruments for this research were media and material expert sheets, student response sheets, and student achievement report. Based on the result of validation, media validation analysis resulted in an average score of 3.56, very valid, and material validation analysis resulted in an average score of 3.29, valid. The media is considered feasible to be tested. The result of student response analysis resulted in an average score of 87% which means the teaching media was very welcomed by student. The result of student achievement report analysis showed that the percentage of students who reached minimum criteria of mastery learning (score ≥ 75) were 100%. This showed that the web-based teaching media was very effective and feasible in teaching process.
