  • This research is discuss about strategies took by an Indonesian national airlines by facing challenge thats ocurs in liberaliation air transport service in ASEAN. With a focus on the purpose on this research is to describe a strategies by using the concept of free trade agreement and the concept of competitive advantage in accordance with Garuda Indonesia and Lion Air as a Indonesian national airlines as a form of repesentative of many airlines in Indonesia in order to survive of the liberalization of the Asean Economic at the Asean Open Sky Policy 2015. This research is a qualitative research was conducted with a type qualitative descriptive. The result of this research is by using the concept of competitive advantage, Garuda Indonesia has a strategies Sky Beyond and Garuda Indonesia Experience by facing Asean Open Sky and Lion Air has done an expansion in a several country in the area of Asean Malindo Air in Malaysia and Thai Lion Air in Thailand and continued using concept low cost flight that applied in a several stategic country in ASEAN. The establishment of a strategies is a form that Indonesian national airlines is ready to face the competition in liberalization in air transport services in Asean Open Sky Policy 2015.
