- Given the competition in the business world is increasing at this time, the company should be able to improve the quality of processes and products so as to achieve overall company efficiency. One of methods that can be used to improve quality control and productivity is the Six Sigma method. Six sigma is one of methods used to provide the solutions to improve the standard of the company's internal processes aimed at minimizing defects. Through the application of the DMAIC cycle (Define, Measure, Improve, Analyze, and Control) in Six Sigma, then Defect per Million opportunies (DPMO) can be known and improved. This research was conducted at PT. Batu Bhumi Suryatama as a company engaged in the beverage production. The suggestion of fixing the bad production which uses six sigma can decrease the worst product for 50,78%.
