- The purpose of this study was to analyze the implementation full day school in MI Muhammadiyah Jombang, a problem that sought and championed schools to overcome problems. The research method used is a qualitative approach with the type of descriptive research. Data obtained through interviews, interviews and documentation studies. The results of this study indicate that implementation of the full day school is conducted one year from May 2017, a policy based on the Nawacita President of Republic Indonesia and the Character Education Strengthening Policy created by the Ministry Education of the Republic Indonesia. The purpose of full day school that is implemented in the MI Muhammadiyah 1 Jombang is the school of students who have the definition of the Ministry of Education of the Republic Indonesia. Problems that arise during the implementation of full day school include inadequate facilities and infrastructure, discipline of teachers, employees and students who need relatively long time, parents who still do not have good morality, reflecting school schedules with student activities outside of hours school. Solutions that are carried out by the school with those who always socialize the activities of students in the full day school policy, give dispensation to students if there are activities outside school hours, conduct weekly evaluations and collaborate with institutions that can support the full day activities of existing schools in school.
