- Children with slow learning is a slow students in the learning process, so that the child takes longer than a bunch of other students who have the same level of intellectual potential. In a few months in need special child development (ABK) which focuses to slowly learn (slow learner) in Malang can arguably its development very rapidly, though only by focusing to one school only. The cause of the slow learner is almost unknown by the public at large, but thanks to the presence of a psychologist-psychologist who researched about the child slowly learn (slow learner) there are several factors cause a slow learner, i.e. child poverty, the intelligence of the members of the family, emotional factors, and personal factors. This research would like to know the model in learning children in need special (ABK) focused to students learning slowly (slow learner) in SLB Autism Kids Malang River. The technique of data collection was done through observation, interviews, and documentation. Based on the results of this study show that, in need of special child's learning model (ABK) focused to students learning slowly (slow learner) in SLB Autism Kids Malang River through the learning methods used River Kids i.e. direct learning methods (AA-WA and TEACCH). Viewed from the success of the visualisation methods, then SLB Autism Kids Malang River using methods in the learning process, where they are also implementing a social support to encourage such learning methods. Social support social support, emotionally and physically. Broadly speaking, social support emotionally, like empathy has always stood for the individual who has the problem, provide a comfortable and pleasant atmosphere, provide a sense of warmth and give a sense of love and concern for them.
