- This study aims to (1) Analyze the cost structure, receipt and income of chili pepper farming in Plandaan District, Jombang Regency (2) Analyze the profitability / profits of cayenne farming in Plandaan District, Jombang Regency. The study was conducted in August 2018. The location of the study was carried out by purposive sampling which was deliberately taken place in Plandaan Subdistrict, Jombang Regency with the consideration that in the Subdistrict it has superior chili products. Methods of collecting data through observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The results showed that the cost structure of cayenne farming in Plandaan District, Jombang Regency can be seen the total fixed costs incurred in cayenne farming in Plandaan District, Jombang Regency which is Rp. 35,124,602, variable costs of Rp. 344,302,503. Based on fixed costs and variables, it can be seen that the total cost is Rp. 379,427,105, and an average of Rp. 12,647,570. The total revenue received in farming is Rp. 2,634,822,728. The total income received by farmers is Rp. 2,262,586,279. Profitability / profits of cayenne farming obtained results which amounted to 6.9. Based on the results of the calculation, R / C ratio> 1 is obtained, meaning that the chili farming is profitable.
