- Maintenance and handling machines that are inappropriately can lead to decreased levels of productivity and efficiency of the machine. CV.Rio Karya Wood is a company engaged in the manufacture of plywood. The machine operates continuously demanded can meet the targets that have been set with a high level of effectiveness. The problems found in the CV.Rio Karya Wood found on many a breakdown occurred in the engine as well as Cutting maximum number of less production which led to the lack of effectiveness of the total index value of the overall machine (OEE) on machine Cutting. To be able to increase productivity then made measurements of the Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and calculation of the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). The OEE is a systematic method to perform measurements of the effectiveness of the process of a machine or equipment. In General, the small value of OEE is influenced by the dominant factor that causes low performance.
