  • PT. Gresik Cipta Sejahtera Malang Petroganic Unit is one of the organic fertilizer factories located in Malang Regency, East Java. Designing a schedule of maintenance activities is absolutely necessary, with the best activity is oriented design and is based on guaranteeing the reliability of an equipment, Therefore, the plant must carry out continuous maintenance (maintenance). So that proper care is needed on the machines in this factory. The purpose of this study is to choose a system maintenance action based on the RCM method, and component replacement intervals to minimize the Total Minimization Downtime (TMD). The results of the RCM component data processing method in the Directed Condition (CD) category are the gear box component. Components in the Time Directed (TD) category are Bearings + Flow Block, Gear Pan and Pinion Gear. Components in the Run To Failure (RTF) category are V-Belt component. Components in the Time Directed category are calculated for component replacement intervals based on TMD criteria. The results of the calculation of component replacement intervals were 49 days for all components included in the Time Directed category, the proposed maintenance of the RCM method can reduce Downtime by 5.96% and decrease maintenance costs by Rp. 9,534,028 / year.
