  • Instead of taking the Pare – Kediri route, most of the road users prefer the Pare – Wates highway as a time-saving alternative. However, since more than five thousand vehicles travelled on the route, several spots are damaged. This study aimed to plan a rigid pavement on the Pare – Wates highway, which previously was constructed by flexible pavement, and to plan the budget. The researcher applied the Bina Marga method referring to the Guidelines for the Rigid Pavement with Concrete and Cement Pd T-14-2003 by using the jointed reinforced concrete pavement. The analysis results showed that the thickness of the bottom layer of the pavement foundation was 150 mm and the thickness of the concrete slab was 200 mm. For the reinforcement planning, the diameter of the elongated reinforcement was 8 – 200 mm; the diameter of the transverse reinforcement was 8 mm – 250 mm, the diameter of the dowel was 25 mm – 300 mm with the length of 450 mm; and the diameter of the tie bar was 16 – 750 mm and with the length of 600 mm. Meanwhile, the budget plan for the whole construction was IDR 26.672.960.350,00.
