- The appointing of a method is common in a certain project implementation whenever there is a situation in the field to address. The circumstance requires the project executor must develop a new method apart from the conventional ones. As in platform structure, there is a non-conventional method that applies namely half slab. From the analysis result in Lavalete Hospital of Malang City, there is a comparison between the two methods, namely the conventional and half slab methods. The platform with the conventional method cost a total of Rp. 2,549,075,062 while the half slab method cost a total of Rp. 2,694,729,852. From the cost analysis result, the conclusion shows that the conventional method is cheaper than the half slab with the difference of Rp. 145,654,789.78 which equals to 5.41%. The analysis on the time consumption shows that the conventional method required 104 days while the half slab method required 71 days. The result of the study shows that the half slab method is faster than the conventional one in term of time span with the different of 33 days which equals 31.73%.
