- The operational cost of a public transport vehicle is one form of research that knows something fundamental about the emergence of problems in the field with several approaches using indicators as a basis for research on the results of evaluations. Inter-city bus public transportation is one of the transportation services that has a role to improve public transportation in various regions. With the aim of research to find out the characteristics of vehicles from the Bungurasih terminal route in Surabaya - Arya Wiraraja terminal in Sumenep district and as a parameter to determine vehicle operating costs so that comfort, speed, and cheap in the eyes of the community. The method used is a method that includes dynamic survey. The study results of the analysis of passenger public transport rates are based on the operational costs of the Bungurasih terminal route in Surabaya - Arya Wiraraja terminal, Sumenep district. This study discusses the magnitude of long distance bus rates based on vehicle operating costs. Short bus fares Rp. 15,000 / passenger, Rp. 25,000 for medium distance rates and Rp. 50,000 for long distance terminal route Bungurasih, Surabaya - Arya Wiraraja terminal, Sumenep district. From the calculation of vehicle operating costs is Rp. 14.701 / passenger / rit for short distances, Rp. 24.502 / passenger / rit for medium distance, while for long distance Rp. 49,869 / passenger / passenger from Bungurasih terminal, Surabaya city - Arya Wiraraja terminal, Sumenep Regency.
