  • This study attempts to described (1) the application of learning with the approach the problem of posing and (2) the ability to communicate mathematical students consisting of spoken and written. The kind of research this is descriptive with qualitative and quantitative approaches, by which objects in this research was the ability to communicate mathematical patterns of students in learning the number with the approach the problem of posing raden fatah in junior high school .The data were drawn from the observation to know the activity of teachers, the activity of students, mathematical communication students orally and communication mathematical student all at writing in the form of a test evaluation at each end of learning. The research results show that the implementation of learning with the approach the problem posing in accordance of a stage is planned in lesson plans , the activity of teachers get value 82.8 % to a category good and activity students get value 72,9 % respectively to a category good .From the results of the ability to communicate mathematical orally have average score 82 % to a category good while the ability to communicate mathematical in writing have average score 81 % to a category good .
