- The development of industry and technology increasingly rapidly make the entrepreneurs to continue to improve the work system in order to compete competitively. Home industry Sukun Style is one of the industries that produce clothing with manual manufacturing process. In producing a clothing product, workers through several stages of the process ranging from pattern cutting to the packaging process. In the production process there are several complaints experienced by the workers. Therefore, an analysis was made to determine the factors causing musculoskeletal disorders that occur in the operator at work. One method that can be used to analyze complaints is by using RULA and OWAS methods is a method developed in the field of ergonomics and can be used quickly to assess the working position or posture of the neck, back, arms, wrists and feet of an operator. From result of data processing using RULA and OWAS method, hence can be taken some conclusion. Based on the calculation of posture values using RULA method, the highest score on work 1 and 2, namely examination of RULA 7 fabric value, with the category must be investigated and apply the changes. OWAS highest score on job1,2 and 3 with indigo 2 with category need improvement
