  • Total productive Maintenance (TPM) is a concept to optimize the effectiveness of the equipment manufacturer whose purpose is to avoid all accidents, defects and breakdown. The basic measurements of the TPM uses a method called Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). After measurement of effectiveness, it will identify the root cause of the loss by using Root Cause Analysis of Failure (RCFA) method. The results of this research show that the value of OEE standard does not reach the JIPM, where OEE was 72.99%. Based on the results of the identification, which has the largest percentage of losses is reduced speed losses (129.40%) and Equipment failure losses (94.27%). Both of those losses occurred due to failure thus decreased time productive from the machine. RCFA indicated that failure caused by eretan table jammed, overheat, and control speed does not work. The proposed improvements in the form of the application of the concept of the 8 pillars of TPM that is Autonomous Maintenance, Focusses improvement, Planned maintenance and Training.
