  • Protection against safety and health of work is still far from the expected because there are still a lot of work on environmental hazards that could endanger the group's production workforce. The application of safety and occupational health (K3) need to be performed optimally in order to prevent the occurrence of accidents inside. This research aims to obtain the value of the potential dangers of working risks, categories of potential hazards of the job, getting the basic factors in the cause of the accident, labor and got the right improvement proposals to the company. Therefore this research using the method of approach to the HIRA and FTA. The results of the identification of the highest potential value derived hazard is 20 with a category that is very high or extreme, namely the possibility of explosion hazards in the process of welding. The most basic factor causes basic occurrence or danger of explosion welding process that is less reliable in welding workers, workers in a hurry, not worker concentration and not doing maintenance on a regular basis.
