- CV. SBW Mandiri located in the area of Turen Malang, CV. SBW Mandiri is a company that engaged in the production of bricks and paving blocks and became one of the distributors for government development projects, building contractor companies, individuals, and also building stores. In its activities of the production department, especially in the brick production section, there was a activities (lifting, putting the load) of employees whose working posture is at risk of causing muscle injury or Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs) and threatening workers’ safety and health. To analyze the work attitude and operator’s complaints in conducting this activity, the method will be use is RULA (Rapid Upper Limb Assessment) method and Nordic Body Map questionnaire to find out which body part complained after doing production activity. From the analysis conducted on four sorts of activity, the result of the risk level of each activity is at a high level of risk that is with score value 7 which means need to be repaired immediately possible, this is caused by the work posture when lifting and put heavy load in a bent position and performed repeatedly. Based on these results, the company can implement designed tools that can reduce or change risky work postures and can also assist with heavy load lifting activities.
