- In universities, the determination of lecturers with achievements is an activity so that they can evaluate the performance of each lecturer in a university. University of Muhammadiyah Malang is one of the universities in Malang, East Java, where the Academic Quality Assurance Bureau (BKMA) is the organizer of the determination of outstanding lecturers held in February until May. The process of determining the achievement of lecturers is based on the performance of lecturers covering the performance of textbooks, internal research, external research, other outcomes, speakers of scientific forums and intellectual property rights. Weighted Product (WP) method is one of several methods of multi-criteria decision making (Multiple-criteria decision-making). This method is used because to get an accurate value, multiplication is done to connect the rating of the attribute, where the rating of the attribute must be raised first with the weight value of the attribute in question. This is to avoid if there is a similarity in the value of the performance of each lecturer, then using this method will produce more accurate values in order to obtain recommendations for the selection of outstanding lecturers.
