Srikaya plant is said to be a medicinal plant because in all parts of the plant srikaya contains several active compounds that have benefits to cure various diseases, one of which is typhoid fever caused by Salmonella sp. The content of phenol and alkaloid compounds in the fruit peel of srikaya (Annona squamossa L) is as antibacterial which is able to inhibit the growth of Salmonella sp. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of various concentrations of srikaya fruit peel extract (Annona squamossa L) on the inhibitory zone of Salmonella sp. as a source of learning biology. This type of research is True Experimental with a Posttest-Only Control Group Design research design. In this study using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD). The concentration of srikaya fruit peel extract used were 12.5%, 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100%, positive control using tetracycline and negative control using distilled water. Data analysis techniques were used using One-Way Anova analysis with the stages of normality test, homogeneity test, ANOVA test and Duncan test. The results showed that the extract of srikaya rind had an influence on the inhibitory zone of Salmonella sp. Srikaya fruit peel extract (Annona squamossa L) with a concentration of 25%, 50% and 75% has a strong inhibition category with a inhibition zone diameter of 21.17 mm, 19.40mm and 21.26 mm. Srikaya fruit peel extract (Annona squamossa L) with a concentration of 12.5% and 100% has a moderate inhibition category with inhibition zone diameter of 18.50 mm and 18.17 mm. In the positive control treatment (tetracycline) the inhibition category of poor bacteria with inhibitory zone diameter was 14.42 mm. Whereas in the treatment of negative controls did not indicate the presence of inhibitory zones formed. The most effective concentration to inhibit the growth of Salmonella sp bacteria. namely at a concentration of 75% with an average inhibitory zone diameter of 21.26 mm.
