- Emotional maturity is extremely needed by the wife who undergo long distance marriage. The perceived emotional maturity is suspected can affect marriage satisfaction. The purpose of this research is to find out how big the emotional maturity of the relationship and satisfaction of the marriage on the wife who undergo long distance marriage. Sampling techniques using the technique of snowball in the town of Balikpapan, East Kalimantan by involving 120 wife who undergo long distance marriage. Measuring instrument used is the satisfaction scale marriage and maturity of emotion. The data were analyzed by using the product moment correlation. The results of the study showed a significant relationship with positive direction between the maturity of emotion to the satisfaction of the marriage on the wife who undergo long distance marriage.
