- This study aims to describe the performance, competence, and communication of the employees of PT PINDAD (Persero) Turen Malang, and analyze the influence of competency and communication on employee performance, the sample in the research is tooling section employees as many as 69 respondents. The analytical tool used in this study uses scale range analysis and multiple linear regression. The results of the study revealed that the employee's performance was in the high category and the employee's work competency was in the high category, as well as the communication carried out by the employees in the good category. The results of multiple linear regression analysis on the influence of competencies on employee performance resulted in competencies having a partial and significant effect on employee performance. communication affects employee performance partially and significantly on employee performance. and competence and communication simultaneously and significantly affect employee performance
