- This study aims to determine the returns and risks between deposits and gold for the period January 2015 - December 2017, and find out which types of investments have high returns and low risk. The rate of return is calculated based on capital gain, average rate of return and risk using standard deviations. The method used is descriptive. The results of this study indicate that the rate of return on deposits is higher than gold, and the risk of gold is also higher than gold. It can be said that deposits are more profitable.
