- Investment is one of the alternative of funding source to meet the capital requirements in the continuity of the economic development process. This investment could be sourced from domestic direct investment and foreign direct investment. Althought both have advantages, but foreign direct investment could have bad consequences for economic development if its too high. Therefore, the efforts to increase domestic direct investment is more important to be performed so domestic direct investment can compete with foreign direct investment. In the past five years the realization of investment in West Nusa Tenggara Province has continued to increase, but this high investment realization is dominated by foreign direct investment while domestic direct investment has decreased. This study aims to determine how the influence of inflation, investment credit interest rates, and gross regional domestic product to the domestic direct investment on West Nusa Tenggara Province in the period 2012 – 2016. Data analysis technique ised in this study is multiple linear regression with Ordinary Least Square (OLS) method. The results of this study showed that the inflation rate has a negative and insignificant effect on domestic direct investment in West Nusa Tenggara Province, while the investment credit interest rate and gross regional domestic product has a positive effect on domestic direct investment in West Nusa Tenggara Province.
