- This study aims to analyze Regional Government Expenditures, Population Amount and Human Development Index of Districts or Cities in East Kalimantan Province and to find out whether Regional Government Expenditures and Population Influence affect the Human Development Index in Districts or Cities in East Kalimantan Province. The analytical tool used is Panel Data Regression. Which aims to determine the magnitude of the influence between the independent variables on the dependent variable, namely the influence of variables of Regional Government Expenditures and Population Amount on the Human Development Index in Districts or Cities in East Kalimantan Province. With the results of the study stated that the Regional Government Expenditure variable has a positive and significant effect with a coefficient of 0.0001, and the Population Variable has a positive and significant effect with a coefficient of 0.0000 on the Human Development Index in the District or City in East Kalimantan Province.
