- The purpose of this study is to know the magnitude of economic growth, regional inequality, and poverty levels between regencies / cities of South Sulawesi Province in 2011-2017 and to find out the influence of the dependent variables namely economic growth and developmental imbalances on the independent variables of poverty levels. The analytical tool used is 1) economic growth analysis 2) Williamson Index 3) Classical Assumptions 4) Regression Analysis 5) Significance Test. The results of the analysis of the highest magnitude of economic growth rates among Kabupaen / Kota were achieved by Maros Regency in 2011 amounting to 11.24%, the lowest value achieved by East Luwu Regency in 2016 was 1.62%. for the highest development inequality achieved by Makassar City in 2017 amounted to 2.06 while the lowest inequality was reached by Palopo City by 0.003. And the highest percentage of poverty between Regency / City of South Sulawesi Province was reached by Pangkep Regency in 2013 amounting to 17.75% while the lowest percentage was reached by Makassar City at 4.38%. Based on the results of the analysis of the effect of economic growth on the level of poverty in South Sulawesi Province shows a positive and not significant number. And the influence of development inequality on the level of poverty in South Sulawesi Province shows a negative and insignificant number.
