- Anxiety is one of the mental health problemsinpregnant woman, but not many pregnant woman ara aware and understand how to overcome them. Emosional regulation training is an activity that focuses on training emotional recognition skills, expressing emotions, changing emotions, managing emotions, and calming down when facing stressful situations. Emotion regulation training can regulate both negatif or positif emotions, either by lowering or increasing them so that they can reduce anxiety. The subject of this study consisted of 2 pregnant woman first child, the third semester of pregnancy, the mother’s age 20-30 years, having an anxiety score in the high category, and not taking drugs or participating in activities in order to reduce anxiety. This study used pre experimental design with pre test post test group design. Pre-test and post-test data is known that there is a decrease in scores that vary between subjects. Subject 1 experienced a gain score of 19 scores, while subject 2 experienced a decrease in score of 9 scores. So that it can be concluded that emotional regulation training affects the decrease in anxiety scores in pregnant women.
