- The reality show "Say Putus" is a reality show which was broadcast by television station TRANS TV which is an event that tells about the problems of love relationships and how to find the best solution in its solution. The study, entitled "The Meaning of Reality Show among Muslim Teenagers (Study of Reception About the Reality Show" Tell Disconnect "on TRANS TV among the Islamic Student Association of the University of Muhammadiyah Malang). Beginning with the interest of researchers in the audience or students' interest in this event. The purpose of this study was to find out the Islamic student association in interpreting the "Say Disconnect" question on TRANS TV which is associated with the view of Islam and the concept of communication science which in the results will be able to fulfill the analysis of the prescription data. The theory used in this study is enconding-deconding according to Stuart Hall (1994), there are three main types of meaning or reading of audiences towards media texts namely The dominant-hegemonic, The negotiated reading, and oppositional reading. This study uses a qualitative approach with the method of reception analysis with descriptive qualitative research type. The informant was the Islamic Student Association of the University of Muhammadiyah Malang who had watched the program "Say Drop Out" on TRANS TV. In this study purposive sampling technique was used by sorting out the informant data according to the data needed. Data collection techniques in the form of interviews and documentation. Meanwhile for the results obtained from the seven informants that the researchers studied, there were several different opinions and the way they interpreted the "say break" event. Of the 7 aspects in each one has a different question. Where from the 7 aspects, 2 aspects, namely the concept of the issues raised in the story and the atmosphere raised in the reality show are in the Dominant-Hegemonic position. The other 5 aspects are in the Oppositional Reading position. So in this study it can be concluded that the members of the Islamic Student Association of the University of Muhammadiyah Malang consider that this song has a lot of negatives while in Islam it is not obtained to imitate the scene in the "Say Disconnect" question. Moreover, all that is a lot of Mudhorot rather than its benefits.
