  • The purpose of this study is to analyze and describe the process of visual representation of students in solving geometry problems. The approach of this research is a qualitative approach with a type of descriptive research. The research subjects were students of class XII IPA 4 of SMAN 1 Kota Bima subject of research taken in the study amounted to three students with high, medium and low visual representations. Subject taking is based on the results of tests that have been done. Data collection methods in this study include: test questions and interview sheets. Then the data is analyzed and described. Research results Geometry problem solving process (1) The process of students' visual representation in solving geometric problems at the stage of understanding students with high, medium and low visual representations can restate the information on the question of the known and asked questions. (2) The process of students' visual representation in solving geometric problems at the stage of planning students with high, medium and low visual representations can plan solutions such as making equations from the ones in question. (3) Geometry problem solving process at the problem solving stage of students with high and medium visual representation can solve problems using tables and graphs, while students with low visual representations can solve problems using only graphics. (4) Geometry problem solving process at the stage of re-examining students with high visual representation and checking the answers obtained using tables and graphs, while students with low visual representation do not check the answers obtained using tables and graphs.
