- In the evening entertainment in the city of Malang especially common crimes arising from the influence of alcohol, drugs and others. Crimes that appear in the community will have an impact on discruption of security and a means for the creation of a means feel safe and peace. Crime itself is a social phenomenon caused by various problems such as the economic crisis are causing unemployment and social inequalities that arise in the community can also be a trigger for the onset of a crimes. The issue presented is what are the factors that cause the occurrence of violent crimes committed in nightclubs, especially in the area of Malang city law, how do modus operandi resulting acts of violence committed inthe nightlife scene especially in the area of Malang city law. How police efforts in tackling the violence that is done in the nightlife scene, especially in the city of Malang jurisdiction. In this study the authors used juridical sociological approach. Research using primary sources and secondary legal materials. To collect legal materials, the author uses the method of observation, interviews, library research, the study documents. In the process of legal materials, the authors used a qualitative descriptive method. Based on the results of reasearch and discussion, the factors that led to the violence at nightclubs is due to loss of consciousness or drunkenness, fighting women, brken home, touched when dancing, narcotics. The modus operandi in committing acts of violence at Hugo’s Cafe Malang was hit wtih a bottle, hitting the seat cafe, hit by broken glass to serious injuries, pulling and banging the victim’s head to make the cuts permanent, hitting security cafe with bottled drinks. Prevention efforts should be undertaken by the police in tackling the violence that takes place in the evening entertainment was a repressive and preventive efforts. Conclussin the are several factors and modus operandi by the perpetators of violence. Advice should be the manager of the Hugo’s Cafe Malang and police to tighten security at Hugos Cafe Malang.
