- The purpose of this study is 1) knowing performance, compensation and motivation 2) knowing the effect of compensation and motivation on performance and 3) knowing the variables that most influence performance. The type of research in the preparation of this paper is explanatory research. The population in this study is the production department employees at PT. Media Insani Dompu West Nusa Tenggara as many as 35 employees. Data analysis techniques that have been carried out are using multiple linear regression analysis with F test and t test. Based on the results of the research and discussion that has been done, it can be concluded that 1) the performance of employees is included in sufficient criteria, compensation is included in sufficient criteria and work motivation in high criteria. 2) There is a positive influence between compensation and motivation on performance and 3) compensation has a dominant influence on performance.
