- English is a local content which is taught to students at the elementary and secondary school level in the area of East Java and beyond. In fact English is less attractive to elementary school students in particular, animal recognition in English. lack of student interest in, animal name recognition in English is caused by passive English learning, not using interesting learning media and monotonous learning methods. With these constraints developed the use of Animal Name Recognition Game media with game methods to increase the interest of fourth grade students in elementary school Jatimulyo I Malang. This current research is a research and development with ADDIE approach. This approach have 5 steps, those are: (1) analyze; (2) design; (3) development; (4) implementation; (5) evaluate. This research was done fourth grade student of elementary school Jatimulyo I Malang. The result from the development of media Game Animal Name Recognition research showed that Game Animal Name Recognition media is feasible to be applied in the fourth grade student. Based on validation result from the expert, this media Parawaca obtained 97%, validation result from material expert obtained 98%, and validating result from learning expert gainned 97%. The result from response third grade student is good. The respond obtained 94,38% from questionnaire. Based on thos results, the researcher concluded that the learning Game Animal Name Recognition media can increase the student motivation and help student in English.
