According to experts, there are several types of games made by children is one of them is kind of pretend game that became the object of this research. Children who have a negative self concept as commonly experienced by disabled children require a special treatment (therapy). Some experts have developed several methods for doing therapy for&#xD; children with this problem. Just as Piaget and Anna Freud in dealing with children who have psychological problems prefer to use play as a means of therapy. While the analytical technique used is discriminant tests or different test with t test Based on the results of experiments and data analysis can be summarized as follows: Play therapy have significant impacts on improving disabled children's self-concept is low. Conclusions are based test value t calculate equal to -7.176 at a significance level (p = 0.001) which means that there are differences in self-concept are significantly disabled children between before therapy play after play therapy. As in the control group indicated t count of -2.000 with a significance level (p 0.102&gt; p value 0.05), thus it can be concluded that in the control group there were no differences in self-concept before and after play therapy.</description><date>2007</date><type>Thesis:Thesis</type><type>PeerReview:NonPeerReviewed</type><type>Book:Book</type><language>eng</language><identifier>http://eprints.umm.ac.id/4315/1/MENINGKATKAN_SELF_CONCEPT_PADA_ANAK_TUNADAKSA_MELALUI_TERAPI_BERMAIN_KELOMPOK.pdf</identifier><identifier> Arifin, Maryam Aria (2007) MENINGKATKAN SELF CONCEPT PADA ANAK TUNADAKSA MELALUI TERAPI BERMAIN KELOMPOK(GROUP PLAY THERAPY ).
