- The purpose of this research is mendiskipsikan mathematical reasoning abilities of students in mathematical problem solving on woke up the space. This type of research is descriptive research. In this study researchers reveal about the ability of student reasoning MTs N 1 Trenggalek in doing problem solving related to understanding the concepts and procedures in material grade VIII subject wakes up flat-Sided Room in particular. This study used a qualitative and quantitative approach the level of mathematical reasoning 6 subjects of grade 1 MTs VIIIF Trenggalek on flat-sided room wake up material berkiteria is quite good with the three following categories: subject with high matematistis reasoning can control 3 indicator properly. The subject is able to present the statement in mathematical writing, oral or images, conclusion, preparation of withdrawal stated evidence as well as the granting of some solutions. The subject of mathematical berpenalaran is being able to master the 2 indicators properly. The two sabjek able to megutarakan in written and oral statements with images or diagrams as well as being able to draw conclusions, and preparing the evidence of some of the solutions. The subject of mathematical reasoning ability with low can only be controlled with good indicators. They are capable of displaying mathematical expressions in spoken and written with a picture or diagram.
