- This research aims to find out how the process of intercultural communication between Hindus and Muslims in the Kepaon Village community in maintaining harmonization of relations between religious communities. In this research using a qualitative approach with the type of research is qualitative descriptive. Data obtained by in-depth interviewing techniques were then analyzed with what was revealed by each of the research subjects and supported by the dialectical theory of relations by Baxter. Previous subjects were determined through purposive sampling and obtained 5 subjects and 2 informants to enrich the data and as supporters of the validity test of data from the Community of Kepaon Village, Denpasar, Bali. The results of the research are inter-cultural communication between Hinduism and Islam in maintaining the harmonization of relations obtained from the subjects and from direct observation in Kepaon Village. It works well. Even though some obstacles are found and each subject feels different effects of each individual based on their experiences. respectively, but so far the people of Kepaon Village have managed to maintain their existence amid the problematic shift in relations of communication between Hindus and Muslims who are adi Bali and thus far Kepaon Village continues to maintain inter-religious harmony in order to create harmonious relations between existing appeasements.
