  • This research was conducted on the fisheries Indoor Laboratory in University of Muhammadiyah Malang on 2 October – 30 October 2015. Purpose of the study was to “the growth and survival rate perform of Sangkuriang catfish (Clarias gariephinus sp) at traditional culture system, Biofloc and NWS (Natural Water System). The method used is experimental method with completely ramdomized design with 3 different management water quality system treatment P1 (Traditional Culture System), P2 (Biofloc) and P3 (NWS), with four repetitions of each management water quality. The result showed that different in the growth and survival rate perfotm of sangkuriang catfish spian (Clarias gariephinus sp) at traditional culture system, Biofloc and NWS (Natural Water System), had very significant effect on growth length and had significant effect on growth weight of Sangkuriang catfish (Clarias gariephinus sp). The best growth length in P2 (1,931 ± 0,478 %/days), followed by P3 (0,997 ± 0,185%/days) and the lowest P1 (1,106 ± 0,203%/days). The best growth weight in P2 (3,075 ± 0,54 %BW/days), followed by P1 (2,310 ± 0,08 %BW/days) and P3 (2,415 ± 0,27 %BW/days). It can be conduded that management water quality system gives the best rate of growth length, growth weight and survival rate of Sangkuriang catfish is Biofloc in P2.
